Am I going thru DVD too fast? Soon there would be nothing interesting to watch.
I thought this movie would be boring, seeing this is a story about a young man had gone into the wilderness and abandon everything he knows behind.
The movie turns out quite fun to watch, despite my initial doubt.

Movie: The Counterfeiter
A friend said too many sad movies is bad for the heart. I agree with her.
The movie I watch tonight is sad. It is sad because it is true, or was true. The Counterfeiter is a movie about a counterfeiting operation during World War II to fund the German war effort. We know that the Jewish people who helped the effort would be treated better than other inmates in concentration camps. It had happened not a long time ago, but soon to be forgotten.
We seldom ask ourselves what does clean linen mean, because it is not a life and death decision. I seldom look up the sky and ask why am I been given much, because I want more. People say happiness stem from one's attitude. Do they realize what it means?
I'm touched by lives, the lives of the people who are less fortunate. There is nothing wrong with it. In fact, it makes God's words the more alive.
Matthew 25
34"Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'

Oh man... I think I'm on my way to a broken heart. After watching this movie, Man Push Cart, I know a bit more about life's hardship. Life can be a cruel master.

Movie: 開往春天的地鐵
The English title is "Spring Subway".
It's a movie about relationship, but it's not a romantic movie. It's about the fleeting romance between the two protagonists, and the reasons that caused love to fade. This particular topic intrigue me, because it is a fresh perspective on relationship. Sometimes the Hollywood romantic movies tire me out with the perfect ending and its endless singular tale. I need a film that can cast aside the fairy vision and tell me the unfamiliar, such as fleeting love.
When the tears were drifting across the girl's cheek, I almost need to pause the movie and take a breather. I understand the guy's intention to protect the girl he loves, yet he is not able to break the silence.
With divorce and break up common place, I often have the question why.
Talking about fleeting love is not easy. People assume when two people get together, they would be happy forever.
The movie is optimistic because it assumes two people can work things out if they can be honest with each another. Would a couple can become strangers after a time? What causes that to happen?
If I watch this film two years ago, I would not realize as much things as I would now.
Don't you think the actress is really good? From the picture, you can tell how much she's been hurt. *sigh*
Next movie: Man Push Cart

How Cells Take Out The Trash To Prevent Disease
ScienceDaily (Nov. 18, 2008) — Garbage collectors are important for removing trash; without them waste accumulates and can quickly become a health hazard. Similarly, individual cells that make up such biological organisms as humans also have sophisticated methods for managing waste.
