Movie: The Counterfeiter

A friend said too many sad movies is bad for the heart. I agree with her. The movie I watch tonight is sad. It is sad because it is true, or was true. The Counterfeiter is a movie about a counterfeiting operation during World War II to fund the German war effort. We know that the Jewish people who helped the effort would be treated better than other inmates in concentration camps. It had happened not a long time ago, but soon to be forgotten. We seldom ask ourselves what does clean linen mean, because it is not a life and death decision. I seldom look up the sky and ask why am I been given much, because I want more. People say happiness stem from one's attitude. Do they realize what it means? I'm touched by lives, the lives of the people who are less fortunate. There is nothing wrong with it. In fact, it makes God's words the more alive. Matthew 25 34"Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'
