"No, my lord," I replied.
6 So he said to me, "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the LORD Almighty.
[Zech. 4:4-6]
"Not by might, not by power, but by the spirit of God."
Sometimes I wonder how I would walk this Christian life, since the path is full of perils and obstacles. In time, it seems the one who are closest to me is unable to lend me a helping hand.
Then, I realize I am depending on people's hands and not of God's. I have doubt in my heart, and it is a subtle doubt. Do I not know the might of God? Do I doubt God's faithfulness? What God had started, God will accomplish. When I walk to the point where my strength fails me, God will carry me through. This is the promise from the perfect God, from the loving God, and He is mighty and just.
He is faithful, even when we are not.

You are not alone.
May the Lord grant you the strength and wisdom to keep walking toward him.
Happy New Year, Mansun!
Recently, I have learnt the importance of 'hope' in our Christian Life. God tells us to have faith in Him and be happy in Him. But if we don't have hope in Him, we can't really stay faithful and happy. We would be cast down by our guilt and forget the might and grace of God.
During the last winter christian conference, a pastor compares our christian life to a soccer match. There's half time break in a soccer match. A team that is loosing in the first half doesn't mean it would loose in the game. The second half match is crucial. The half time break is for the coach to coach the teammates with new strategy and encourage them.
Our christian life is the same too. What we've gone wrong or failed in the past, has passed already. What is important is the rest of our life. Don't look at your failures and shortcomings because God will cover up those.
"What is Hope? Hope is wanting something so eagerly that no matter what all the evidence seems to suggest that you might not get it nor achieve it, you never give up wanting it. Remarkably, the very act of hoping produces a motivating strength of its own. It is well said: where there is no hope, there can be no endeavor. Let's put our hope, at the beginning of the New Year, in the Lord Jesus Christ who is the Hope of all mankind."--taking from our church calendar :)
Where are you Mansun?? Are you busy at work and in life? How come you disappear suddenly in our fellowship? Are you okay?? Update your blog please!
